Dyers Farm

An original 400-year-old Devon longhouse, Dyers Farmhouse has been carefully refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation for sea kayakers and for those wishing to hire it as a holiday home. Sea Kayaking South West operates from the old stable block and the owners/caretakers occupy the adjacent barn conversion.

Set on a quiet country road in a secluded valley two miles from Braunton a number of wonderful pubs are within half hour walking distance of the farmhouse. Dyers Farm is in easy reach of many award winning beaches and cliff top walks.

Accommodation for sea kayak courses

Those doing a course with Sea Kayaking South West can stay at Dyers Farm for £35 per night which includes all bedding, towels for use at the house, and the ingredients for a hearty help yourself breakfast each morning. Family members may also stay with you at the same rate. Where ever possible you will be given your own bedroom but occasionally you may be asked to share a twin room. You are welcome to use all the available facilities including the self-catering kitchen. You may extend your stay either side of your course to make a holiday of it if there is availability.

Holiday home accommodation

When not being used by sea kayaking guests Dyers Farm may be rented out for private use as a self-catering holiday home. Although we encourage longer stays during the busy periods we are happy to discuss availability with you and arrange bookings for as little as one night. Arrive after 4pm and leave before 10am unless otherwise arranged.
Please bring your own beach towels.
School and Bank Holidays £200 per night, all other times £150 per night. 10% discount for 4 or more nights.
A 25% deposit will confirm your booking.
Full payment required 6 weeks in advance of holiday start date.
Please complete a booking form for each holiday period required.
