Here at Sea Kayaking Southwest we're passionate about our environment and try to minimize the impact of sea kayaking by:

  • Respecting all wildlife and habitat.
  • Only paddling in small groups of generally 4 to 6.
  • Observing the marine wildlife watching code W.D.C.S.
  • Avoiding disturbing nesting birds on the beach and rocks.
  • Acting in a responsible manner i.e. picking up snagged line left by fisherman, this will stop birds being caught up in the line.
  • Taking all litter home including human waste wherever practical.
  • Avoiding using plastic plates and cups and recycling wherever possible.
  • Encouraging paddlers to car share wherever possible and offset carbon using Carbon Neutral.
REMEMBER take only pictures leave nothing but footprints.
