Our Ethos

Rob McIntyre has lived and worked with the sea for many years, as a sailor, surfer and kayaker. His love of this environment and its wildlife is infectious; whatever your previous experience of the sea Rob’s knowledge and enthusiasm will allow you to appreciate it more fully.

Sea kayaking is in ideal way to observe and interact with the coastal environment. Sea Kayaking South West has always used the ample opportunities provided by the sport to explain about coastal wildlife, its preservation and our interactions with it. Environmental issues are a standard topic in all our training courses. Our camping expeditions include environmental impact training to the most exacting standards, passing on many hints and tips to people who are likely to use these skills repeatedly on our shores.

All SKSW guides and coaches are passionate about the sea and kayaking and like nothing better than to share this with others. They are all trained and insured via The British Canoe Union. We use top quality boats and equipment to ensure your comfort, safety and enjoyment.
