Expedition: Exmoor Traverse 3 Days Wild Camping - £250
This multi day journey is the perfect way to discover the South West Coast by sea kayak. We will aim to cover 10 to 15 miles a day, so a good fitness level is required. As you journey along the coast you will have plenty of opportunity to explore sea caves, hidden coves and stunning beaches. You could try your hand at fishing from your kayak for supper ! As always, our experienced and knowledgeable guides will be there to help you.
Sea Kayaking South West will take you through every aspect of sea kayak camping, from how to pack your boat and paddle it loaded to finding a suitable beach and how to set up camp.
Our camping expeditions include showing you how to minimize your environmental impact, passing on many hints and tips that will be useful to you on future expeditions.
What experience is needed?
This trip is for people with some experience of sea kayaking, but not necessarily of camping. Your guides will cover boat handling techniques specific to sea kayaks before you start your journey. There will be plenty of opportunity to learn new sea kayaking skills whilst on your journey allowing you to become more self reliant as the week progresses.
