Introduction To Sea Kayaking 5 Day Course

core/modules/blog/templates/img/avatars/polaroid-anita.gif

Last week was the first of our 5 day intro courses. We had a real mix of weather and conditions but used a variety of locations including the estuary. The final day was a trip from Watermouth Harbour along the stunning coastline to Combe Martin and back again, taking in a few caves along the way. Oh and a great fry up for our lunch stop ! We were lucky enough to have sunshine in the morning and saw fulmar's nesting on the cliffs, a shag drying out it's wings on a rock and a cormorant. Rob had also spotted some porpoise first thing in the morning before we got on the water.  What a beautiful place we live in. It is very fulfilling to have a complete beginner at the start of the week turn into a confident paddler in such a short space of time.
